CLEAR BONDING LIQUID
CLEAR BONDING LIQUID
Clear Bonding Liquid: bonding agent and sealer for chalky surfaces
Rhinoluxe Clear Bonding Liquid is an alkali-resistant bonding agent that works as both a sealer and a primer. It penetrates and binds difficult, chalky or flaky surfaces so plaster and paint hold, giving smooth, durable, long-lasting results on interior and exterior walls and floors.
Key Benefits
- Binds chalky surfaces. Locks down powdery, flaky masonry before coating.
- Sealer and primer in one. Penetrates and seals in a single product.
- Alkali resistant. Stands up to masonry alkalinity.
- Clear finish. Binds without changing the surface colour.
- Interior and exterior. For walls, plaster and floors.
Technical Overview
Clear Bonding Liquid is a penetrating resin binder. On chalky or friable surfaces it soaks in, glues the loose particles together and leaves a sealed, stable base that plaster or paint can grip. Its alkali resistance suits masonry and plaster, and because it dries clear it can also seal surfaces where a pigmented primer is not wanted.

Technical Guidance
Brush or remove as much loose material as possible, then apply the bonding liquid so it penetrates and binds the surface. Let it dry to a sealed base before plastering or painting. On very powdery surfaces, a second application improves the bond.
