Technical Overview

Premium Wood Oil is a penetrating oil finish rather than a surface film. The natural oils are absorbed into the timber, replacing lost moisture and building water repellency within the wood itself, so the finish will not peel or flake the way a film can. Technical Guidance

Clean and dry the timber, and sand back any old film-forming finish so the oil can penetrate. Apply an even coat, let it soak in, and wipe off any excess. Re-oil outdoor timber periodically to maintain protection. Choose Wood Copal Varnish instead where a hard, glossy film is wanted.
