SPREADING RATE

3m² per 1 litre when applying as a 2-coat system. 60m² per 20 litre drum.

FILM THICKNESS

6-8 SQM per litre per coat. NOTE: Spreading rate can vary due to substrate porosity and substrate type. For uncoated new surfaces work on 3-4 sqm/1L for the first coat and 4-5 SQM/1L for subsequent coats and when applied to sealed or previously painted substrates.

  • Can it be applied to a hot roof?

    It's not recommended to apply paint when the roof is hot. In the summer, it is best to apply paint in the mornings or late afternoons, when the temperatures are cooler. In the winter, it is best to apply paint midday when it's warmer and there is no condensation or moisture on the roofs.

  • What colours do Heath Reflect coating come in?

    Heat Reflect is only available in bright white.

  • Will it work on asbestos roof?

    Yes, Heat Reflect can be painted on an Asbestos roof. It is important to do safe surface prperation on the Asbestos too.

    Heat Reflect was originally develop for chicken farms to lower internal temperatures. Historical data has been anything from 3 to 7 degrees cooler.
