Technical Guidance

Apply Shield to a clean, sound surface: plastered exterior walls, high-humidity interior areas, tiled, concrete and fibre-cement roofs, and primed metal, wood or previously painted substrates. Prime bare or porous surfaces first, and apply two coats to reach the rated film thickness, letting the first dry before recoating. Reinforce cracks and joints where movement is expected.
